Christmas Card Illustration – Oddbodie Bauble

Featured Image

This illustration is part of my Oddbodie series, where I playfully distort my body into unexpected shapes and scenarios.

About the Illustration

For this year’s Christmas card design, I imagined myself as an Oddbodie character, working away on my laptop while somehow managing to fit my body inside a giant Christmas bauble.

The illustration combines festive cheer with a playful twist on self-portraiture. It’s bright, quirky, and a little surreal — a lighthearted way of celebrating the season.

Style & Process

I created this illustration digitally, leaning into bold Christmas colours and textures to give it warmth and charm. By exaggerating the body and compressing it into the bauble, I wanted to capture both the oddness and humour of the Oddbodie approach, while still keeping it recognisably “me.”
